Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson Caught in Money Flaunting Controversy...

Shane X Jeffree Star Cosmetics go on sale?

Recently, many of Shane's products with Jeffree Star Cosmetics have gone on sale. Specifically in the palette section of Jeffree's website, customers are noticing that Shane's products are the only products on sale. Some people are speculating that this is a result of Jeffree Star trying to distance himself from Shane Dawson in order to keep his brand and channel running.

Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson Lying?

Many of you have probably been following Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson's friendship over the past few years. Well, recently, they've both been caught in a controversy alongside Trisha Paytas, who accused them both of money shaming her. This took many fans by surprise considering Trisha and Shane have been friends for 12+ years.

When Jeffree made tweets about the situation he claimed that he had never money shamed people before. He wrote, "Contrary to popular belief and slander, I don't money shame anyone and we all know I've come from literally NOTHING." Many people found this statement to be a blatant lie and pointed out the fact that Shane and Jeffree collaborated on two videos titled, "Shane Dawson Controls My Life For A Day," and "WEARING WALMART FOR A DAY with SHANE DAWSON." In these videos, Jeffree made a joke announcing that they had spent $200 at Walmart, followed by "I get why Tana shops there." Which Shane chuckled at. In both videos, Shane Dawson brought up his money situation by calling himself poor despite buying a three million dollar home that same year. Many viewers found his comments about money to be insensitive and dishonest considering the millions of people in poverty who could never afford a 3 million dollar mansion. Jeffree also buys Shane a luxury Tatcha moisturizer and states that he feels like he's participating in Make a Wish.

Both Shane and Jeffree claim to never have money shamed others, but in the end, actions speak louder than words, these statements can never be taken as factual when there's video proof of the two of them making a mockery of people in poverty. Shane refers to himself as poor so often that his viewers started sympathizing with him, despite the millions he's making off of product launches and YouTube videos. Jeffree Star especially, is known for flaunting his millions of dollars and looking down upon others who aren't as financially blessed as he is.

Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson are unbelievably controversial and often receive scrutiny for their actions and words. This scandal isn't even comparable to their racism scandals and other controversies that they've gotten themselves into. This situation, at best, is drama, while the pair's other scandals are completely unacceptable and past the point of internet troubles. Please, please, please do more research on this and hold these people accountable. Stop following them, watching their videos, and liking their tweets.
